Two Nights In Mississippi

I'm on this rough trip of waking up early and first thing walking out for a coffee. Two espresso shots in a cup and then not eating. I'm unsure how it came to this but by the time eleven o'clock rolls 'round I'm wrecked. It's a jagged little trip for sure. And I'm on the slide down as I type this.
Both Dana and Casey had gigs this last week. Back to back nights and both at Mississippi Studios. Thursday and Friday nights were for the music. And lovely it was at that.

Casey and Dana sharing a radio spot on KBOO.

Chris Sand - Sandman - opened for Dana and it was great to see him again. We knew each other just a little back in some other lifetime up in Olympia. I wasn't even sure that he would remember me but he did. He lives in North Dakota now in an old homestead house he bought for a thousand dollars. He rambles and raps and strums his way across America.

I love this picture of Casey. It's iconic somehow.
